Health benefits of herbal tea

Commonly called tisanes, herbal tea are beverages made from the infusion or decoction of herbs, spices, or other plant material in hot- water

Herbal tea provides many benefits including digestion, detoxification, and weight loss. They are rich in antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins that not only improve body healthy but also help in relaxing and refreshing your mind.

Unlike true teas, including green tea, black tea, and oolong tea brewed from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant, herbal teas are made from dried fruits, flowers, spices, or herbs.

This means herbal teas can come in a wide range of tastes and flavors, making a tempting alternative to sweet or unsweetened beverages or water.

How Does Herbal Tea Differ from other Teas?

True teas come from Camellia sinensis, commonly known as the tea plant. The leaves are harvested then cured. Depending on whether or not the leaves are allowed to wilt or oxidize. There are several types of true tea: white, yellow, green, black, and oolong.
