Actually smells like fresh ginger root in powder form

This brand has yet to disappoint me and this ground ginger is no different. I've used them for over a year now. Quality is always consistent across their products and the fact that they lab test for heavy metals and other contaminants gives me faith in what I'm purchasing. The minute you open the bag it hits you with that sweet aroma, it's so fresh and fragrant that you can tell right away that this isn't a spice that sat in a warehouse for two years losing potency. It actually smells like fresh ginger root in powder form. The color is a deep orange yellow. It is spicy too, that warm zesty kick good ginger has. Little goes a long way, so while it's 4 oz it'll last you a while. Good in everything I want that warm ginger flavor to come through; cookies, tea, bread, curried chicken, for example. Highly recommend, and recommend the brand in general if you're concerned about quality and what you're putting into your body.

Good Quality Ginger with Great Transparency

I've tried other spices from this brand and have been pleased with the quality. This ground ginger is finely milled with a warm, spicy flavor and a nice ginger kick. It blends and dissolves fairly well in liquids and is versatile for cooking, baking, teas, and other beverages. It is only ginger. No added fillers or flavors or bad stuff. Just one quality ingredient.I especially appreciate the company's transparency. Each batch is third-party tested, and the package includes a batch number and QR code that takes you to a COA summary with access to the full report. The 4-ounce bag is vacuum sealed and resealable to help maintain freshness, and other sizes are available. My bag had a best-before date about a year and a half out, so there's plenty of time to use it.Overall, this is a good-quality, flavorful ginger powder that's easy to use in a variety of recipes. Having tried other spices from this brand, I continue to appreciate the quality, thoughtful packaging, and accessible product information. It's also reasonably priced at about $8 currently. Since it's fairly potent, I will get many uses out of this since a little goes a long way for flavor in beverages.

Very good

Its very good.

Sweet spicy ginger for holiday baking

Very finely ground with a delicious spicy fragrance! This is perfect for making gingerbread cakes and cookies all fall and winter! Ginger is the way to go and this brand appears to be authentically US Organic. Packaging durability is good enough but I plan to transfer it to glass once opened so nothing spills. Great value for a spicy sweet ginger!

Good quality

I bought a few ground ginger before, but I think this is the best one I've had. The other ones I've tried were perhaps not as good in quality; they were a little more mustard yellow and slightly bitter. This one was a little more light in color, and it tasted quite fresh. I think it's pretty authentic in the flavor. It's certified organic, although I'm not sure how that affects the taste and health. It's ground pretty well, exactly as you would expect ground ginger to be, pretty fine, so the texture is quite fine. It mixes really well.I love that it's resealable, and I would recommend this over other cheaper ground ginger.
